We actively seek to work in partnership with other organisations in the local community and many of the activities that take place at The Haven are offered in partnership.
Renew 139, where you will often find people meeting with their support worker, is part of the wider Renew Wellbeing organisation. Local community organisations who refer their clients to Renew 139 also hold their own support groups at The Shore Café.
Any courses that we run have been developed by professionals to use in community settings e.g. our Kids Matter parenting programmes.
We maintain strong links with the local Bognor Regis Foodbank after being instrumental in its establishment 10 years ago.
Our Knit and Natter group supports a local charity for the blind by knitting items that they can sell to fundraise for their activities. Potter’s Heart, who meet weekly at The Haven, is an Adult Education Charity working in some of the poorest communities in rural Kenya.
